Shiver me Timbers! – ME LIFE IN BOOKS TAG (2020)

ME LIFE IN BOOKS TAG (2020)

Because I wanted to do something silly to celebrate the end of the year and I had fun with this last year.  I love the idea of it!  It’s a fun way to look back at what we’ve read this year, with a bit of humor mixed in.

The rules are simple: Using only books you have read this year, answer these questions. Try not to repeat a book title.

Side note: click on the book title to read me review of it!

In high school I was: a deadly education

People might be surprised by: random sh*t flying through the air

I will never be: the seventh perfection

My fantasy job is: bringing down the duke

At the end of a long day I need: untamed shore

I hate: the other people

I Wish I had: the sword of kaigen

My family reunions are: embers of war

At a party you’d find me with: a wizard’s guide to defensive baking

I’ve never been to: a labyrinth of scions and sorcery

A happy day includes: sword fight

Motto I live by: three laws lethal

On my bucket list is: fly by night

In my next life, I want to have: have spacesuit – will travel

And a Bonus Version from the First Mate!

In high school I was: Mostly Harmless

People might be surprised by: 13 Things That Don’t Make Sense

I will never be: 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea

My fantasy job is: The Man Who Folded Himself

At the end of a long day I need: Her Prodigal Passion

I hate: Arguing With Zombies

I Wish I had: Toast

My family reunions are: A Conspiracy of Truths

At a party you’d find me with: Curious Toys

I’ve never been to: The Restaurant at the End of the Universe

A happy day includes: Solitude

Motto I live by: Speak No Evil

On my bucket list is: Junk

If you’d like to give this a shot, consider yourself tagged!  Arrrrrr!

And with that goodbye 2020.  May 2021 actually be so much better.  Happy reading and sailing!

  1. Ah, I love this tag, and you’ve got some great answers this year! Embers of war and a wizard’s guide to defensive baking are such funny/fitting titles for their prompts, lol

      1. Raclette and fondue are very popular dishes at New Years in Germany. Besides slicing and dicing there is not a lot of preparation and it‘s a very social thing… anyway, it’s going to be a quiet event this year! Happy New Year!🎊
