Shiver me Timbers! Bah Humbug!

Ahoy there me mateys!  So as many of me crew of scalawags, seadogs, and fellow explorers knows today is Xmas (in the part of the world I am in anyways).  Now as I am a Scroogey-Grinch whose only joy in this holiday is pillaging christmas baked goods, I thought I would share one of me more favorite pirate xmas shanties.  Listen to it at yer own peril!  And enjoy:

For those that celebrate the holiday, I hope yer holiday is all ye want it to be.  For the rest of us . . . a regular day on the high seas!

Always remember:

Q:  What did the Pirate Santa say?

A:  Row row row!

Hardy har har!

  1. Lol… pillaging baked Christmas goods is a very good way to pass the holiday, Cap! And I love this festive offering – the last song sums up my whole feeling about winter weather, too. I was BORN for the heat, so quite what I’m doing on this soggy, rain-soaked island is beyond my understanding! Let’s hope 2020 brings plenty of voyages full of loot and a hold brimful of awesome books!

    1. I got some excellent cookies and chocolates so I consider the pillaging a success. I love the heat too and keep ending up in cold places where it snows. Ugh. But mehaps some changes in 2020. I definitely could use a lot more loot and awesome books. Hope yer reading and writing is awesome in 2020. Arrrr!

      1. Thank you, Cap! Let’s hope we can both find enough loot, so that we can leave those old timbers to shiver alone, while we sun ourselves somewhere warm and toasty! Happy New Year to you:))x
