Ahoy there me mateys! It has come to me attention that there be crew members aboard me ship that STILL have not yet read the adventures of the Murderbot. Only 38 of ye have read the first book. This be insubordination and it is unwarranted, unwanted, and undeserved. I believe I was extremely clear when I said that all ye scalawags should read about Murderbot. I just reread book one meself and adored it all over again. Seriously ye layabouts, there are at least three good reasons to read this series:
- I said so;
- One of me favourite authors, Ann Leckie, talked about it in one of her blog posts. She states, “This is volume 1 of the Murderbot Diaries, and I suspect a certain percentage of my readers don’t need to hear anything more. Go, purchase, download! You will enjoy this.”
- It won the Hugo Award for Best Novella (2018), the Nebula Award for Best Novella (2017), and the Locus Award for Best Novella (2018).
Need anymore convincing? Well the second book in the series, artificial condition is currently nominated for a 2019 best novella Hugo award. Plus a full-length novel called network effect is scheduled for 2020. Seriously ye knuckleheads, hunker down and read about the Murderbot. Or I promise ye will regret it! Arrrr!
Side note: list in progress
Crew Members Derelict in Duty
I have discovered the melanies so far. I will track ye all down! Arrr!
I am skipping the blurb this time cause ye don’t need it.

So very glad that ye be spreading the word to the uneducated masses. Everyone needs to love the Murderbot. I am not normally one who watches books made into movies but I could watch Murderbot. Thanks for reading! Arrrr!

Hahaha! I love that you’ve written a post like this. I only recently read All Systems Red, but I plan on continuing the series later this year. It’s quite a fun, brief read. I really enjoyed it! Now, if only I could make time for my review… XD

Your pingback to this reminds me I STILL haven’t reviewed All Systems Red or read any of the other books! I must correct this for 2020.
