I be feeling a bit under the weather and was having trouble figuring out what to read next when I saw “Where do you turn to when you need a pick-me-up on a bad day?”  That was exactly how I was feeling and so I clicked on it.  These comics were instant gratification and immediately made me smile.  Just what I needed.

This collection of comics is short at 88 pages but I have read it three times (so far).  The author’s illustrations are just so cute and feature animals, people, and small pep talks.  I am not sure how many of them have been previously featured on her website but I loved them.  One of me favourites was an updated version of this:

  1. THANK YOU. I just immediately downloaded this book from NetGalley. Why? Because Chibird is my FAVORITE online comic. Chen’s comics are so uplifting. Are you familiar with her gifs? I send them to my friends all the time. They are wonderful. And this book sounds wonderful! Sadly, it is a protected PDF, meaning at some point I won’t get to read it any longer… but then I’ll just buy my own copy, I think. 😉

    Great review!!

    1. I adored this one! I didn’t know her work either. The comics are so uplifting and cute. I now subscribe to her new posts. I was sad that it is protected and will expire but I do really understand why. Glad ye could get a copy!
