    1. I like to post arc reviews on the publication day. But sometimes I read multiple books that have the same release date. I don’t like to post multiple reviews in a day. So one book gets the release date. The other gets a different date and then a reminder post. I like to be fair to the publishers who let me read arcs 😉

      1. That’s SUPER smart. I don’t read enough ARCs to have that problem yet. O_o I’m a bit of a slacker.

I can completely relate to not wanting to publish multiple reviews on a single day. It’s hard enough to keep up with posting! Do you ever work with publishers to determine a best alternate date?

      2. In general I don’t really talk to any publishers. I know other crew members have personal relationships with them but I can barely find time to read or keep up with the books I do have. A couple of publishers have contacted me directly which was weird and awesome but it was related to specific books. And in terms of ARCS, I try these days not to request any that have the same release dates so I can find the time to fit them in. But of course sometimes I don’t pay attention and then have a full arc reading month. Lovely comment at usual.

      3. Preach at me– We need to sleep sometimes, right? Right. If only there were more hours in the day.

It never occurred to me to look for release dates of books and try to avoid requesting books with the same release dates. Smart! I’ll keep that in mind for my future requests. That said, I’m totally trying to avoid them right now. I have such a backlog of ARCs…

      4. I had gotten my backlog of Netgalley eArcs down to 8, was excited, then had wishes granted and I am back up to 11. And I have 11 arcs from authors. I am trying to bring that number back down to manageable levels by the end of this year. Arrrr!

      5. XD XD XD I can relate to that. My only trick is that I don’t auto-save my password for Netalley or Edelweiss. It means I have to go through some extra effort to stay away, but I run into the same problem when I post a review… Luckily, I’m so behind on ARCs that it doesn’t matter since I’m not publishing any reviews. #SorryNotSorry
